Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson nearly couldn't play against Detroit this weekend due to illness. No big deal until it came out that the "illness" was caused by him accidentally swallowing chewing tobacco. Fox Sports announcer Chris Myers said that Peterson accidentally swallowed his chewing tobacco when the Vikings plane hit turbulence on the way to Detroit. Peterson denied this and said things got "blown out of proportion".
Wow I thought I knew everything about this guy I mean he's in the news so much but now I find out he's likes to spit guy? I ask you is there anything more disgusting than chewing tobacco guy? The guy that carries a spit jar with him or even worse the guy that doesn't, dude just spits all over the street. Adrian is Skoal guy, I cannot believe that. I also can't believe dude was dipping and the plane hit an air pocket and dude swallowed his dip, not only is that unfortunate but its also gross.
"I've been dipping for the last 10 years. For me to swallow a dip, my body's immune to it. That doesn't affect me at all", Peterson said.
Instead dude said he ate some shrimp and had an allergic reaction. Peterson found out he was allergic to shellfish when he had a reaction to jambalaya at training camp in 2012.
Peterson said, "That might have something to do with it. I didn't have any type of reaction, but I'm sure it contributed to how my stomach was feeling. Sometimes I love shrimp so much that I go against the grain sometimes. I always make sure I keep an EpiPen with me. I learned my lesson."
So now you say it wasn't tobacco that it was shellfish that you happen to be allergic too that caused your illness. That's more idiotic than swallowing skoal. Dude knew he was allergic since 2012 but his love of shrimp caused him to say the hell with it, what are you five?
The EpiPen works sometimes and sometimes it's too late but I love how he's risking his life for Red Lobster. AP back away from the seafood dude it's not worth dying over and chewing tobacco should be illegal. It's 2015 and dudes are still chewing tobacco like our great great grandfathers, he might as well go tobacco pipe with it, that's just as ridiculous this day and age.
