Ferrari is the most illustrious name in the history of motorsports. Every brand and driver wants to partner up with the Scuderia and be a part of its journey. Subsequently, it was announced that Hewlett-Packard(HP) and Ferrari had joined hands, which has now resulted in the team renaming itself to Scuderia Ferrari HP from the Miami GP onwards.

Hewlett-Packard is one of the most renowned brands in the tech sphere. On the other hand, Ferrari is the most famous and elusive brand in the world of motorsports.

Owing to their huge success in both spheres, the giants are recognized worldwide, and a tie-up between the two will add a lot to their legacy as a whole. HP cracked a deal with the prancing horses, which has been rumored to be on the scale of Oracle and Red Bull.

Moreover, the SF-24 and drivers would be seen wearing the new moniker next time around in Miami, where the team has planned to run a blue livery celebrating their 70th anniversary in the North Americas, the motherland of HP.

Ferrari CEO is optimistic about the collaboration with Hewlett-Packard

After securing the deal with HP, celebrations would have begun in Maranello. Moreover, after finalizing the deal with the American sponsor, Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna seemed content and aimed for a sustainable future together.

The 55-year-old reflected on the deal and envisioned a prosperous future between the two giants.

Our founder passed on to us his continuous will to progress. From this stems our drive to innovate on the road and on the track, as well as our commitment to a sustainable future, from carbon neutrality to the education of the younger generation. In HP we have found the same values, which make it an ideal partner. We look forward to starting our collaboration and facing new opportunities and challenges together. Benedetto Vigna said in the press release by Hewlett-Packard

The CEO claimed that both HP and Ferrari share the same values. Both brands focus on sustainable development for the betterment of the future and are aligned with each other’s principles, which deemed the collaboration with the American tech firm a suitable option.

Apart from this, HP joins a list of elusive title sponsors that Ferrari has had over decades. Subsequently, it would be interesting to see whether this partnership remains a mere sponsorship agreement or if the American giant takes a role in the development of cars by providing technical assistance at Maranello.
