Former Denver Broncos fan favorite retires and gives a shoutout to fan base
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos have had a great group of defensive players over the years, but especially during their tenure, they were Super Bowl champions, which saw them beat the Carolina Panthers using great defense.

Those players are slowly starting to fade out of the league, even though that was just in 2015, almost ten years ago. In fact, most of them are out of the league. One of the last ones left just retired.

On Tuesday, former Broncos fan favorite Chris Harris Jr. announced that he was retiring after 12 years in the league.

Harris Jr. played for the Broncos for nine years, earning four Pro Bowls and three All-Pros. In those nine seasons, he accumulated 20 interceptions, four touchdowns, and 86 passes defended.

When he was with the Broncos during his prime, Harris Jr. was a guy everyone loved. he was a lockdown corner for the Broncos and made so many countless big-time plays. He hangs it up on Tuesday after playing with the Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints, too.
